One of the most enjoyable parts of my retreats are the late night sharings. We stayed up late to talk, share, get to know one another (maybe a little wine too!) and laugh! But I was tired the next morning. :)
When you attend one of my retreats breakfast is included. You will find healthy choices, gluten free breads (or not), organic coffee & teas, and fresh fruits along with other healthy goodies

This last time I simply found the ‘role’ of keeper of the fire. I loved sitting next to the fireplace and placing another log when needed. It was just what happened in 2019
There was a blank table at the beginning of the retreat. By the retreat’s end, this was the magic that was created. A metaphor for life. In the proper energy, with the love that humans require to thrive, magic always happens

When we meditate regularly (not hit N miss, not a crisis meditator) it is then that the elements of our life are knitted together so perfectly
Why yes, meditation is part of REAL LIFE
I educate and present to the public research and information on a range of topics when I am not sharing health & wellbeing with my clients, students, and in my online programs. The topics can be challenging (terrorism, democracy, international relations, political disorder, globalization, etc.). My meditation practice always helps me at a time when the stress is real and the public is seeking clear information. I cannot be part of the confusion and meditation helps me to remain centered when I am around others who are upset, confused, afraid, angry, or disheartened.

Many years ago, DavidJi named his retreat location “The Nest”. And it certainly is. It is a nest to help us grow and develop so that we become better meditation teachers, share-rs, and practitioners.
Meditation is for REAL PEOPLE. Real people with real jobs and real challenges in life. Meditation is for you. It isn’t for ‘those people’, its for You!
It was just a fun idea I had several months ago. Just some thing fun, wearing gloves during meditation. And then,,,, the Covid19 pandemic hit the entire world. Now we wear masks & gloves because so much has changed. I had no idea at the time of this photo the significance these gloves would have… STAY SAFE EVERY ONE! KEEP MEDITATING BUT PROTECT YOUR SELF AS NEEDED.
