Understanding Pain

Pain is a very difficult experience. The good news is that you can learn how to better interact with the causes and conditions of your pain. Most people develop maladaptive responses to pain; I can help you change that. In my programs you will learn to shift maladaptive reactions to your pain into higher functioning adaptability.

There is no one way for how a person feels or perceives pain. The innumerable ways that a person feels pain is one of the challenges with the medical community for effective approaches. In my programs, I work to help you identify your individualized treatment plan that will alter the existing physiological reactions to your pain so that you evolve into more conscious responses. RESPONSES instead of reactions-this is what I want for you!

How I Can Help You With Your Pain

I have worked with hundreds of pain patients in a clinical setting using a therapeutic model that incorporates a wider set of practices to help the human body, mind, and personality adapt to a chronic pain condition. Using advances in western medicine and science in conjunction with effective treatments from eastern medicine, my patients have experienced improvement in their ability to more successfully live with their pain. And isn’t that what you want? After feeling defeated by the injury, or the illness, wouldn’t you like to have tools that will help you feel more successful?

If your body has been significantly damaged, I cannot turn back the clock. But my therapeutic modalities have shown highly effective outcomes because I support patients in feeling better. Feeling better means mentally, psychologically, physiologically, emotionally, and energetically.  Feeling better means bringing balance into your body and mind so that the pain no longer dominates your experience of life.
